Heat treatment following cold forming

The material characteristics of the respective sheets are altered by the cold forming. An increase in the strength values is observed, in conjunction with a simultaneous drop in the durability and strain values.

In order to restore the initial material characteristics of the sheets it is commonly necessary to subject these to heat treatment. Heat treatment takes place in our modern annealing furnace. Documentation of all important annealing parameters is possible.
